Seven Malaysians who participated in the Shell Rimula global promotion contest held on 15th April 2015 to 15th July 2015 won a money can't buy experience. They were among the more than 180 participants from 19 countries who gathered in Budapest, Hungary recently not just to watch the FIA European Truck Racing Championship teams at the Shell Hungary Truck Fest, but also take part in the exclusive Shell Rimula Truck Racing Challenge.

The Truck Racing Challenge was designed by Shell Rimula to let participants from all over the world put their truck racing team skills to the ultimate test. They navigated their way through a series of obstacles and trials with the guidance of expert instructors as they attempted to master truck control and accuracy tests, mechanical tasks, engineering skills and teamwork challenges in a bid to be crowned the Shell Rimula Truck Racing Champion!
During the challenge, guests were given the chance to see if they had what it takes to be part of a truck-racing team as they experienced the vehicles’ power and gained an appreciation of the demands often placed on heavy-duty engines of trucks, when operating in real-life conditions. Driver concentration and awareness were also put to the test in a number of precision and finesse driving challenges, as was the ability to work as a team to complete the various tasks. And if that weren’t enough, all guests experienced the thrill and adrenaline of a professional race driver during an exclusive passenger lap of the Hungaroring. I WISH i was there. A taxi ride in one of those racing trucks would be fantastic.

Kuala Lumpur, November 16, 2015 – It was truly a money-can’t-buy experience for the lucky winners of the recent Shell Rimula global promotion contest.
The seven Malaysians; Chong Kong Jam, Foo Kuek Hua, Gan Choon Ling, Jennie Lew, Liew Foh Min, Renny Ong and Tan Yeong Li; were among more than 180 participants from 19 countries who gathered in Budapest, Hungary recently.
They were there not just to watch the FIA European Truck Racing Championship teams at the Shell Hungary Truck Fest, but also take part in the exclusive Shell Rimula Truck Racing Challenge.
At the end of the exclusive truck team experience Shell China were crowned the 2015 Shell Rimula Truck Racing Challenge Team Champions, and the overall Shell Rimula Truck Racing Challenge Country Champions was awarded to Shell Germany.

The Hungarian adventure was not limited to activities at the track. In the evenings they were treated to an array of exclusive dinners hosted by Shell Rimula.
“The event was great opportunity for us to be able to bring our valued hardworking Shell Rimula customers together from across the globe for such a unique experience in this beautiful city. All of the competitors had the opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be part of a professional truck racing team, as well as see the teams in action in the Shell Hungary Truck Fest,” said Seow Lee Ming, Shell Rimula Global Brand Manager.
The 2015 edition of the popular Shell Rimula global promotion contest was held from April 15 to July 15, 2015 and was open to all customers who purchased Shell Rimula R4, R5 or R6 heavy-duty diesel engine oil as well as some other Shell Driveline products.
Ms Seow thanked the customers for their support in making the global promotion another overwhelming success and reaffirmed its commitment to work alongside them to achieve their business goals.
“The overwhelming response, especially from East Malaysia, is a clear indication of Shell Rimula’s market leadership in the heavy duty diesel engine oil category. I also had a lot of fun getting to know other fellow business owners as well as the Shell team, who were exceptional hosts too. I certainly hope to win again in the future!” he said.

Rumah Sakit Jiwa Prof. Dr. Soerojo Magelang merupakan "Pusat Rujukan Nasional" di bidang "Kesehatan Jiwa" dengan pelayanan unggulan "Tumbuh Kembang Anak".
Pada tahun 1916, Scholtens merencanakan untuk membangun suatu “Krankzinningengesticht” ( Rumah Sakit Jiwa ) di Jawa Tengah. Membutuhkan waktu 7 tahun untuk meyakinkan pemerintah Hindia Belanda bahwa ini layak sebagai rumah sakit, akhirnya pada tahun 1923 diresmikan sebagai Rumah Sakit Jiwa.

BMW Malaysia launches the 3 Series Facelift
BMW 318i Luxury Line: RM208,800 - Effectively replacing the 316i but with one cylinder less. But with better equipment inside. It gets luxury spec instead of normal spec. 3 cylinder turbocharged 1.5liter - 136 hp / 220 Nm torque 0-60mph 8.9secs. You can now tell your friends you bought a BMW with a Perodua Axia type of engine (3 cylinders). That three cylinder thrum would make it a different sounding BMW. Tell your friends this is half a BMW M3 (the M3 has a 3.0liter engine with turbos so do the math 3.0 divided by 2 = 1.5. Yay!!!! But heck, RM208,000 for a engine relation of the Perodua Viva clad in a larger body and more luxury clothing. Of course, road tax would be cheap. Under RM90 per year.
BMW 320i Sport LIne: RM238,800 - 4 cylinder 2.0liter - 190hp /290Nm torque 0-60mph 7.2secs. The one that most will strive to buy.
BMW 320i M Sport: RM258,800 - same stuff as the 320i Sport line but with a macho bodykit (compare the above with the opening photo) with the same amount of power but you can tell your friends that you bought a sporty car that cannot outrun the normal car in which is RM20,000 cheaper. You are all flashy.
BMW 320d M Sport: RM268,800 - 4 cylinder 2.0diesel 180hp /380nm torque 0-60mph in 7.2secs but should sound like a taxi. Trust me. Most BMW diesels sound like taxis. From 1985. Powerful they may be but they sound like taxis.
BMW 330i M Sport: RM308,800 - This is essentially the pre-facelift 328i. So you get the same 4 cylinder 2.0liter engine as the 320i but with a retune so that it makes 252hp / 350nm torque 0-60mph in 5.8secs
Bad new aside from the fact that if you desperately want a BMW 3 Series but only have RM210,000 to spend it would be a Perodua Kelisa engine with 500cc more and a turbocharger plonked in is the fact that there are no official 6 cylinder BMW 3 Series on sale (There is a 340i with a 3.0liter turbocharged engine elsehwhere). Unless you opt for the BMW M3. That is great. If not for the fact that it is more than double the price of the 330i M Sport. So you get three cylinders four cylinders but no six cylinders UNLESS it is expensive.
There. Short and sweet.
Hyundai Training Academy Reopens at an All New Enhanced Facility in Mutiara Damansara
Aside from launching the all-new Hyundai Tucson with the Hyundai distributor in Malaysia, Hyundai Sime Darby Motor, Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) itself officiated the grand opening of its new Hyundai Training Academy (HTA) in Mutiara Damansara earlier today.
This new facility measures 17,965 sq ft. The facility is optimally designed to simulate in-dealer situations through its practical training environment and also includes online training equipment such as remote vehicle diagnosis tool and video conference system for remote training. Four experienced local training professionals certified by Hyundai Motor Company Headquarters will manage training operations at this new training academy on a regular basis.
The Asia Pacific Hyundai Training Academy is Hyundai Motor’s second training academy that is fully equipped with Hyundai’s newest dealership space identity standards, following the first establishment in Dubai. The Asia Pacific Hyundai Training Academy provides trainees with an environment to experience Hyundai’s Modern Premium brand values.
It is good to hear that Malaysia seems to be on HMC's map when it comes to getting the latest corporate training methods. Maybe it is the commitment Hyundai Sime Darby Motors have shown within the last few years. I personally think that they are doing a swell job. Sales and brand awareness of the Hyundai brand seems to be better than what it was a decade ago. And let's not forget to mention the fact that Hyundai cars launched in recent years are quite good indeed.

PETALING JAYA, 12 November 2015 –The Asia & Pacific Regional Headquarters of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) officiated the grand opening of its new Hyundai Training Academy (HTA) in Mutiara Damansara today, after relocating to a new enhanced facility with the aim of ensuring customers receive the highest service standards.
“The opening of the new training facility represents a long-term commitment by Hyundai to our customers to ensure they receive the best possible service. Measuring 17,965 sq ft, the facility is optimally designed to simulate in-dealer situations through its practical training environment and also includes online training equipment such as remote vehicle diagnosis tool and video conference system for remote training. Four experienced local training professionals certified by Hyundai Motor Company Headquarters will manage training operations at this new training academy on a regular basis.
The Asia Pacific Hyundai Training Academy is Hyundai Motor’s second training academy that is fully equipped with Hyundai’s newest dealership space identity standards, following the first establishment in Dubai. The Asia Pacific Hyundai Training Academy provides trainees with an environment to experience Hyundai’s Modern Premium brand values.
