Ferrari Finali Mondiali 2015 at Mugello

Last weekend Ferrari had the Finali Mondiali (World Finals) of the Ferrari Challenge at Mugello Circuit in Italy. About 50,000 spectators came to the circuit owned by Ferrari. The event was a carnival which had races. The Ferrari Challenge world title. The winners were three drivers from the European series, probably also due to the fact that they are accustomed to racing at the Mugello circuit - the Coppa Shell went to the experienced Erich Prinoth, Matteo “Babalus” Santoponte triumphed in the Trofeo Pirelli and the Pirelli Am title went to Alessandro Vezzoni.

Aside from that there was an exhibition by Formula 1 team Scuderia Ferrari and the Ferrari exhibition which included the brand new F12tdf series which opened the exhibition hour (pic below). This car pays tribute to the famous Tour de France Automobile; it is produced in 799 units and is equipped with a V12 engines with a power of 780 HP.

Scarperia, 8 November – Record closing day for the Finali Mondiali [World Finals] at the Mugello circuit. On the final day, as many as 50,000 spectators crowded the installation owned by Ferrari. The most anticipated event was the exhibition of the Scuderia Ferrari and its official drivers, but much more was on display at the track.

Challenge world titles. The day opened with the races valid for the attribution of the Ferrari Challenge world title. The winners were three drivers from the European series, probably also due to the fact that they are accustomed to racing at the Mugello: the Coppa Shell went to the experienced Erich Prinoth, Matteo “Babalus” Santoponte triumphed in the Trofeo Pirelli and the Pirelli Am title went to Alessandro Vezzoni.

The exhibition. The great exhibition on the track started at 12:45 p.m. The brand new F12tdf series opened the exhibition hour. This car pays tribute to the famous Tour de France Automobile; it is produced in 799 units and is equipped with a V12 engines with a power of 780 HP. Three examples of the car went onto the track: Kimi Raikkonen and Esteban Gutierrez accompanied respectively the managing director Amedeo Felisa and the vice-president Piero Ferrari on two red cars while the president Sergio Marchionne was Sebastian Vettel’s passenger on the yellow car with which the model was launched.

GT moment. Following this, the 458 Italia GTE and GT3 competing in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and in the main national and international GT championships went on the track. Toni Vilander and Giancarlo Fisichella alternated on car number 51 while the regular drivers James Calado and Davide Rigon took turns on car number 71. Olivier Beretta drove the GT3. Then it was the turn of the 488, a car just introduced which will be racing in the GTE version during the 2016 WEC and in the GT3 version in the great majority of the GT championships. Andrea Bertolini, who looked after the tests, was at the wheel of the GT3, while “Gimmi” Bruni, who is increasingly becoming the face of Ferrari in the GT competitions, was on board the 488 GTE.

Scarperia, 8 November – “This event has been amazingly successful, attracting a crowd of 50,000 fans to Mugello. It shows just how important this marque is, not just in the world of the automobile, but also for this country.” This was what Ferrari President, Sergio Marchionne had to say about the big crowd that turned up in Mugello to watch the Finali Mondiali, which ended today with the Ferrari Challenge world titles being decided. The fans were also treated to a display from Scuderia Ferrari, featuring the race drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel. “Everyone here today can tell that we are going in the right direction. In Formula 1, Maurizio Arrivabene and the whole team are doing a good job: we have not won the 2015 title, which is a shame, but development of the 2016 car gives us cause to believe in it for next season.”

The president arrived in the morning and met the many owners and fans who packed the paddock from the early hours. He handed out the prizes to the Ferrari Challenge world champions and also did a lap of the track in the brand new F12tdf, driven by Sebastian Vettel who premiered the very latest creation from the Maranello company. Kimi Raikkonen had managing director Amedeo Felisa as a passenger, while Esteban Gutierrez had the marque’s vice president, Piero Ferrari alongside him. The day ended with the traditional “family photo” featuring all the drivers from every category, following on from the crowd-pleasing demonstration from the Scuderia’s Formula 1 drivers.

FERRARI CHALLENGE APAC – WYATT WINS THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Scarperia, 7 November – Steve Wyatt (Barbagallo Perth) won the Trofeo Pirelli race on Saturday securing the championship, beating Indonesia’s Renaldi Hutasoit (Viro Water Ferrari Jakarta) to go back to the top of the standings. The Australian had lost the race and his championship lead on Friday. Third place went to another Indonesian driver, David Tjiptobiantoro (Jakarta Ferrari).

Pirelli Am. Lebanon’s Ziad Ghandour (Scuderia Lebanon) triumphed in the Trofeo Pirelli Am, after a fierce battle with overall leader, China’s Wei Xu (CTF Group), and Korea’s Jung Hoon Youn (FMK).

Coppa Shell. Chinese standard bearer Xin Jin (Elite Group) strengthened his lead in the Coppa Shell with his win on Saturday. Japan’s Ken Seto (Rosso Scuderia KK) came second, followed by China’s Bo Song (CTF Group).

Scarperia, 7 November - A unique sound, extraordinary power, and many exceptional cars: In a nutshell this is what two of Ferrari’s most exclusive programmes, F1 Clienti and XX Programmes (pic above), are offering.

Nearly 15 years of victories. The cars that have written the history of Formula 1, from the F300 of 1998 to the F150° Italia of 2011 are taking to the track at the World Finals in Mugello, thrilling fans with the characteristic sound of their eight and ten-cylinder aspirated engines. Customers who have a chance to drive them at the World Finals will have the assistance of some very special tutors such as Marc Gene, James Calado and Giancarlo Fisichella. The F1 Clienti will be key players on Sunday, when an expected record number of spectators will certainly appreciate the roar of the engines of some of the most successful cars in Formula 1 history.

Extraordinary power. The XX Programmes cars will join the F1 Clienti on track at the Finali Mondiali. These unique and extraordinary cars are something that only Ferrari could have come up with. The cars of the XX Programmes can only be driven on track, but they are not approved for any championship. The first of the line was the FXX of 2005, built on the basis of the Enzo, which was followed by the 599XX and then, starting this year, the FXX K, a car as beautiful as it is powerful, with 1050 horsepower and equipped with extraordinary technology that also takes advantage of the experience gained in Formula 1 with hybrid technology.

FINALI MONDIALI – OFF WE GO!

Four days packed with events from Thursday to Sunday

Scarperia, 5 November – The Finali Mondiali at Mugello has kicked off with the first Ferrari Challenge practice sessions. The Finali Mondiali, from Thursday to Sunday, will offer enthusiasts and fans all the passion, excitement and technology that only the Prancing Horse can provide.

Three series of the Challenge. The menu is full of interesting activities, starting with the track events. Indeed, Mugello will host the final two rounds of the three series of the world’s most famous brand: the Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific series. Then on Sunday all the drivers will be on track for the two world championship finals, the Trofeo Pirelli (divided into Pirelli and Pirelli Am) and the Coppa Shell.

F1 Clienti and XX Programmes. Then there will then be the F1 Clienti and the cars of the XX Programmes. The F1 Clienti will offer a glimpse of the Ferraris that competed in Formula 1 from 1998 to 2011, while the FXX K will do the lion’s share of the work for the XX Programmes. The car, derived from the special limited LaFerrari series, was presented for the first time at last year’s Finali Mondiali and in this edition will make its debut in the hands of customers.

The Scuderia and the rest. But the Finali Mondiali is not just about what happens on track. There will be a lot to see in the paddock, starting with the current Ferrari range, including the new special limited F12tdf series. Then there will be the classic Ferrari GTs, with cars ranging from the 1950s to the 458 Italia which ends its competitive career this year in the GTE-Pro series of the World Endurance Championship (WEC). And with this in mind, Mugello will also see the new 488 GTE and GT3, a car whose two versions will compete in next year’s WEC and the main GT championships.

Namun sampai dengan akhir masa jabatan Bapak Ir.Sutami sebagai Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Tenaga Listrik, gagasan ini belum terealisasikan.

The new Great Wall Haval H2 SUV spotted at Glenmarie

The new Honda HRV sized (and reported to be priced underneath it) Great Wall Haval H2 SUV has been spotted ahead of its supposed debut at the NST-MAI autoshow 2015 in Mines  this weekend. Previously it was the 'M4' now 'H2'. The 'M4' made it sound like a high powered BMW. Now the 'H2' sounds like its a Hummer. I love how some people market their products. 

You can see from the picture of it being unloaded and compare its size agains the Haval M4 behind it. It has a nice large chrome grille and body styling that's pretty much up to date (like a  Hyundai Santa Fe type of look). Good proportions too. I also like the two tone paintjob of the one in front if the one you see in full.

What powers it? A 1.5liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine that makes 147hp and 210nm torque. Transmission is a 6 speed conventional automatic pushing the power to the front wheels. It should be ample for powering the front wheel drive H2 which weighs approximately 1495kg. It's not going to beat speed records, but it is adequate to lug families around. Knowing Great Wall Motors Malaysia, equipment levels of this H2 should be ridiculously high.

The Chinese are coming. More variety in the industry with surprisingly decent build quality at an entry level price. A budget Honda HRV? or a budget Hyundai Tucson? 

So if you want to view this new car, head over to the NST-MAT Asean Autoshow 2015. It is a four-day Autoshow that will be held from Nov 12 to 15 at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

GUEST POST: Range Rover - The Rolex Submariner on wheels

Happy Deepavali! Since this is an auspicious day let's bring out guest writer Firdaus Asri and his post about Range Rovers. Usually Firdaus drives around in a Volkswagen Golf R Mk6 and does not really fancy anything with a boot. I think he still does not as he has chosen to write about his opinion on the current Range Rover. And that large SUV does not have a boot. It has a hatch. Therefore it is a hatchback....errr. Anyway, the Range Rover, by Firdaus Asri.

I rarely get a chance to drive interesting cars lately for which I would blame it solely on the Editor because he 'sapu' all the nicest ones like the Jaguar XJ last week (Ed- We just didn't want you to drive about 45 minutes in the traffic and rain in order to spend 10 minutes in one and drive home crying on why you cannot afford one. See how caring we are towards you.). But then without wanting to cry like a baby too much, I thought of writing on cars that are pretty and interesting on its own accord without going into too much details on everything else. And there is no better car to start this other than the latest Range Rover.

If there is one ideal correlation I can make between a Range Rover and a watch, I can only think of one and that is the watch by Rolex called the Submariner. Metaphorically speaking the Rolex Submariner is much like the Range Rover, it is part-time sport and part-time dress watch that you can wear for playing golf in the morning and go to someone's wedding in the evening. It also has a nominal depth rating of over 1000 feet yet we rarely see or even heard any of them being in the water anything other than dipping it the wash basin.

And why is that? Why would you buy a car with a brand new price tag a million Ringgit upwards when you know that you are not going to take it off-road? “Sayang” is one excuse, “Mahal” or bloody expensive is the next excuse and another is err …I could go on but let me tell you why (coming from my perspective of course). It is because driving or being driven in a Range Rover makes you feel like you are the captain of the road or king of the mountain. This is because a Range Rover is and will always be a vehicle that inspire total confidence in you on whatever terrain and conditions you are on. (Ed- You could go off road in one if you get lucky, like in the pic above)

And the latest L405 generation is the best interpretation of that philosophy. Gary McGovern, chief designer of the Range Rover, a strong advocate of design's relevance to Jaguar Land Rover's (JLR) brand equity manages to steer his team by taking the Evoque's handsome design and getting it enlarged without taking away the Range Rover's iconic clean and square-cut functional body. The attention to detail is terrific, for sure you will love the headlights where you can very clearly see Range Rover name on the projector much like the names that you can see on 35mm lens SLR camera. Tiny little fonts but they do not go unnoticed. But if there is one area that perhaps challenging to the eye, I would say it is the rear end specifically the rectangular uninspired taillights. Less regal than the previous generation.

And if there is additional one more thing you've got to say about JLR is that they really really know how to do interiors. Unlike the Germans that tend to copy from one another, they are making their own signature on it with very clean, unique and beautifully put together with the built materials that still matches the material quality used in the latest Mercedes Benz S-class. And you get roomier rear legroom thanks to extended wheelbase of this model, the plush fully adjustable leather seats, panoramic glass roof and everything else makes the opulent ambiance feel like it is totally out of this world. I mean check our the interior pic below!

Everything is to die for but the asking price brand new here in Malaysia will certainly get you to attempt suicide before you vomit out blood or money to buy one. I know it's going to cost you a over a million Ringgit for the 5.0 V8 version plus maybe another RM200k if you want the Autobiography trim in it. I also know it may cost you RM3-5k for every service but tell you what, it is much much cheaper than buying an decent sized house in the Klang Valley these days.

Still, if you intend to own one but somehow the bank manager doesn't seem to agree with you, like me, there is an upside. Unlike a Rolex Submariner which somehow increases in value every decade or so, the resale value of a Range Rover will take a dive as much as an airline company's stock value after a crash. So after it goes out of the showroom it automatically loses a couple of hundred thousand. About five years down the road it may lose half a million Ringgit in value. And that gives guys like you and me a little bit of hope to own one in a few years time. (Ed- that is after we somehow manage to get promoted to CEO, get a huge raise or suddenly inherit a couple of million Ringgit)

There is something about Range Rover that shows the world that you mean business and for every moment in it, it exudes an impression of adventure. That makes it in my view a motoring icon, one of the very top of everybody wet dreams.

• Bagi Pelamar yang pernah mengirimkan lamaran ke BPJS KESEHATAN diwajibkan memperbaharui lamaran dengan melakukan registrasi online melalui situs-web tersebut di atas
• Pelamar wajib memiliki 2 (dua) alamat e-mail pribadi dengan domain yang berbeda dan nomor telepon selular yang masih aktif untuk dapat mengikuti proses seleksi ini. Kami tidak melayani perubahan/koreksi alamat e-mail dan nomor telepon seluler yang telah diinput oleh pelamar
• Untuk memudahkan Anda dalam melakukan registrasi online, persiapkan terlebih dahulu beberapa dokumen berikut ini. Data dari dokumen tersebut diperlukan untuk mengisi form registrasi :

• Kartu Identitas Diri (KTP) yang masih berlaku
• Ijazah D3/D4/S1 yang akan digunakan untuk melamar
• Transkrip Nilai D3/D4/S1 yang akan digunakan untuk melamar
• Sertifikat Pelatihan/Surat Referensi Kerja yang relevan dengan posisi yang dilamar

• Pelamar diwajibkan menyiapkan soft file pas foto terbaru (maksimum 3 bulan terakhir) dengan ketentuan:

• Pas foto berformat JPEG dengan ukuran file maksimum 100kb
• Laki-laki: Pas foto berlatar belakang Biru dengan menggunakan baju formal
• Wanita : Pas foto berlatar belakang Merah dengan menggunakan baju formal

• Pelamar diwajibkan melakukan upload pada saat melakukan Registasi Online dengan format JPEG, masing-masing file/dokumen berukuran maksimum 500kb, yang terdiri dari:

• KTP yang masih berlaku
• Transkrip Nilai Asli yang digunakan untuk mengisi data saat registasi online
• Pas Foto terakhir untuk kartu peserta tes sesuai ketentuan

Catatan :

• Pengumuman tiap tahapan seleksi akan dicantumkan dalam situs-web tersebut di atas
• Proses rekrutmen dan seleksi seluruhnya dilakukan oleh Tim Konsultan Independen, kecuali wawancara user dan tes kesehatan
• Pelamar tidak diperkenankan menghubungi BPJS KESEHATAN dan Tim Konsultan Independen dalam kaitannya dengan proses seleksi. Jika terbukti, panitia berhak menggugurkan proses rekrutmen dan seleksi pelamar terkait
• Hanya pelamar yang lulus dalam setiap tahapan seleksi yang akan dipanggil oleh Tim Konsultan Independen untuk mengikuti proses selanjutnya
• Seluruh tahapan proses rekrutmen dan seleksi tidak dipungut biaya apapun. Apabila ada pihak yang berusaha meminta biaya/menjanjikan sesuatu/menawarkan bantuan atas proses rekrutmen dan seleksi dapat melapor ke call center PPM

Penerimaan Dosen dan Tenaga Kependidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret

Info Loker November 2015 Universitas Sebelas Maret - Universitas Sebelas Maret berdiri sejak 11 Maret 1976, yang awalnya merupakan gabungan dari 5 perguruan tinggi yang ada di Surakarta. 5 perguruan tinggi tersebut: Institut Pelatihan dan Pendidikan Guru Surakarta, Sekolah Menengah Olahraga Surakarta, Akademi Administrasi Bisnis Surakarta, Universitas Gabungan Surakarta (universitas ini adalah gabungan dari beberapa universitas di Surakarta termasuk Universitas Islam Indonesia Surakarta) dan Fakultas Obat-obatan Departemen Pertahanan dan Keamanan Pengembangan Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional Surakarta. Pengabungan beberapa perguruan tinggi tersebut, mempunyai satu tujuan yang besar, yakni meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi di Surakarta. Setelah 5 tahun melakukan konsolidasi, UNS mempersiapkan diri untuk memulai proses perkembangannya. Pembanguan secara fisik dimulai pada tahun 1980. Di bawah kepemimpinan dr. Prakosa, kampus yang semula terletak di di beberapa tempat disatukan dalam suatu kawasan. Lokasi tersebut adalah di daerah Kenthingan, di tepi Sungai Bengawan Solo, dengan cakupan area sekitar 60 hektare. Di daerah Kenthingan inilah, pembangunan kampus tahap pertama berakhir pada tahun 1985.

Lowongan Kerja November 2015 Universitas Sebelas Maret - Sekarang ini, UNS merupakan universitas muda dengan pertumbuhan yang luar biasa. Dengan berbagai potensi yang ada, misal seperti dokter bedah kulit dengan reputasi nasional (Fakultas Kedokteran), penemuan starbio dan padi tahan garam (Fakultas Pertanian), dan beberapa kemajuan yang terjadi di setiap fakultas dan unit-unit kerja lainnya. UNS juga melakukan langkah maju dalam perkembangan teknologi informasi. Dengan ekspansi jaringan teknologi informasi yang lebih besar lagi, Pusat Komputer UNS Solo membuat torehan sejarah UNS dalam buku kemajuan dan perkembangan UNS. Torehan-torehan sejarah yang lebih mengesankan lainnya akan terjadi seiring dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan universitas ini. Pada peringatan Dies Natalis ke-37 pada tahun 2013 UNS telah mendukung gerakan global yaitu apa yang dinamakan dengan Go Green.Momentum untuk menunjukkan tekad itu adalah dengan dicanangkannya Gerakan UNS Green Campus (GC) oleh Menteri Lingkungan Hidup, Balthasar Kambuaya, pada 6 Maret 2013, dengan penanaman pohon secara simbolis di halaman depan kampus UNS. Rencananya , UNS akan dijadikan pilot project untuk program penghijauan kampus ini.

PERSYARATAN UMUM :

• Warga Negara Republik Indonesia;
• Bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa;
• Tidak pernah diberhentikan tidak dengan hormat sebagai Pegawai Negeri atau pegawai swasta;
• Tidak berkedudukan sebagai CPNS/PNS;
• Tidak menjadi pengurus/ anggota Partai Politik;
• Tidak pernah dihukum penjara berdasarkan keputusan pengadilan yang telah mempunyai kekuatan hukum yang tetap;
• Mempunyai kompetensi yang diperlukan di bidang pendidikan dan memiliki kualifikasi pendidikan yang dipersyaratkan pada tabel formasi kolom 8 di atas yang dibuktikan dengan melampirkan dokumen pendukung;
• Untuk formasi Dosen berusia maksimal 50 tahun, sedangkan untuk formasi Tenaga Kependidikan maksimal 40 tahun per tanggal 1 Januari 2016 (kecuali tenaga profesi perawat dan bidan dengan keahlian/pengalaman khusus yang dibuktikan dengan surat pengalaman kerja)
• Berkelakuan baik;
• Sehat jasmani dan rohani;
• Tidak sedang terikat kontrak dengan instansi/lembaga lain;
• Tidak menuntut untuk diangkat sebagai CPNS/PNS

Persyaratan umum tersebut di atas wajib dipenuhi oleh pelamar yang dinyatakan lulus ujian seleksi. Apabila pelamar yang dinyatakan lulus ujian seleksi tetapi tidak dapat memenuhi persyaratan umum dan/ atau persyaratan lain yang ditetapkan, maka hak untuk diusulkan sebagai Pegawai Non-PNS bagi pelamar ybs. secara otomatis batal.

WAKTU PENDAFTARAN :

Pendaftaran dengan cara mengirimkan berkas lamaran melalui pos kepada Panitia Seleksi Penerimaan Dosen dan Tenaga Kependidikan Non-PNS RSP dengan alamat Bagian Kepegawaian Universitas Sebelas Maret Jalan Ir. Sutami 36 A Kentingan Surakarta 57126 mulai tanggal 9 s/d 13 November 2015 (cap pos). Pengiriman berkas lamaran dengan cap pos diluar tanggal pendaftaran dimaksud tidak akan diproses dan harus sudah diterima Panitia paling lambat 17 November 2015

KELENGKAPAN BERKAS :

Kelengkapan berkas yang wajib dilampirkan adalah :

• Surat Lamaran yang ditulis dengan huruf latin dan tulisan tangan sendiri dengan tinta hitam (bukan bollpoint), ditandatangani oleh pelamar dengan menyebutkan jabatan dan nama/kode kualifikasi pendidikan yang akan dilamar, ditujukan kepada Rektor Universitas Sebelas Maret, tanpa meterai;
• 3 (tiga) lembar Pas Foto berwarna ukuran 3 x 4 dengan menuliskan nama lengkap di belakang pas foto tersebut;
• Fotokopi Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) yang masih berlaku;
• Lembar Biodata sesuai formasi (Dosen/Tenaga Kependidikan) sesuai format terlampir;
• 1 (satu) lembar salinan sah STTB/Ijazah sesuai dengan kualifikasi pendidikan yang dibutuhkan beserta transkrip nilai (khusus untuk dosen ijazah D3/D4/S1 s/d. terakhir) dan disahkan oleh Pejabat yang berwenang (tanggal penetapan Ijazah harus sebelum tanggal pelamaran, tidak boleh surat keterangan atau pernyataan yang menyatakan bahwa belum diwisuda);
• Bagi pelamar lulusan perguruan tinggi luar negeri atau lembaga pendidikan luar negeri harus melampirkan Surat Keputusan penetapan dan penyetaraan hasil penilaian ijazah lulusan luar negeri dari Ditjen Pendidikan Tinggi Kemendikbud/Kemenristek;
• Surat Pernyataan tidak sedang terikat kontrak dengan instansi/perguruan tinggi lain yang ditandatangani di atas meterai Rp 6.000,- sesuai format terlampir;
• Bukti pengalaman kerja dan/atau keahlian/pengalaman khusus yang menjadi persyaratan wajib dilampirkan (misal STR, Sertifikat Pelatihan/Uji Kompetensi, dll);
• Berkas disusun rapi sesuai urutan (mulai huruf a s/d. h) dalam map berwarna merah untuk formasi dosen dan warna kuning untuk tenaga kependidikan dengan menuliskan nama, jabatan/kode/nama kualifikasi pendidikan yang dilamar, alamat email, dan No. HP pada halaman depan map. Selanjutnya dimasukkan dalam amplop coklat, pada bagian belakang amplop dituliskan nama, jabatan, dan kode/nama kualifikasi pendidikan yang dilamar.
